CFS Boys Go-Karting Mad!

The CFS European boys did us proud and made the podium following a gruelling 2.5 hour endurance cart race. The operations team of Ben Cox, Paul Watson, Will Porter and Graham Young ably took on ten other teams and despite two major disadvantages (their age and their weight) somehow managed to pull off the coup of the night, to finish in 3^rd place.

It was a great night, hosted by HCH (Heathrow Cargo Handling) which saw some very competitive driving (note - Mr Young had to be reprimanded on several occasions for over zealous racing), plenty of friendly banter and one or two bruised ego’s.

The victorious four finished the night elated, but somewhat shattered, each agreeing that they really were “over the hill” for this type of event. To their credit, they all made it to work in the morning, full of happy memories and pain killers!

Our thanks go again to HCH for such an enjoyable night – roll on the next one……
