A leading retailer is set to launch a new online outlet store which is set to impact on the 2 man delivery sector.
Marks & Spencer (M&S) is branching out into the highly lucrative online market by improving its "Outlet" brand. The company hopes to entice more consumers by offering a 40 per cent discount from the high street prices.
Whilst M&S Outlet has been very popular in stores, bosses at the retailer believe that the move into the online market will help increase sales in their clothing ranges. All purchases will be delivered by courier boosting the company's already expanding business.
M&S has 50 Outlet stores across the country but this is the first time it has been able to move on to the internet adding to its online food and wine sales.
Richard Fox, head of the brand, said: "The internet is often the first port of call for shoppers in search of a bargain, as it offers a quick and convenient way to compare the deals available."
